THE RECONCILIATION OF UPPER SOKPONBA AXIS MUSICIANS BY HER EXCELLENCY MRS ESTHER EDOKPAYI-EBAGUA THE GOVERNOR PMAN EDO STATE CHAPTER
In the past week, Her Excellency Mrs Esther Edokpayi-Ebagua Lady of Songs, Governor of PMAN Edo State Chapter, living up to her campaign promises of uniting all musicians, achieved a milestone in settling the misunderstanding and issues of disunity and love lost between THE QUALIFY UPPER MUSICIANS ASSOCIATION led by Ede Edosa and THE EXCELLENT EDO MUSICIANS CLUB led by Mathew Atewe.
The PMAN Governor proving her prowess in crisis management proved again that the votes of about 120 delegates at the December 10 PMAN election was actually well deserved.
The Qualify Upper Musicians Association and The Excellent Edo Musicians Club have now again become good friends as of old though it was resolved that the two clubs should remain independent but that Mr Mathew Atewe the Chairman of Excellent Edo Musicians Club should STOP henceforth to accept the intending membership of anyone coming from Upper Unity Musicians Association.
It was also resolved that those who left Qualify Upper Musicians Association knowing what the constitution of the Club says about deserting members, they should obey the constitution and pay what they owe.
Mr Ede Edosa the Chairman of Upper Unity Musicians Association, in expressing satisfaction with the way and manner Her Excellency Mrs Esther Edokpayi-Ebagua Lady of Songs Governor of PMAN Edo State handled the matter and then said that having conferred with his EXCO present, they have resolved to honour the Governor and so asked that all those that owe should pay 50% of what they owe. With this statement there was jubilation.
In Conclusion, Her Excellency Mrs Esther Edokpayi-Ebagua Lady of Songs, Governor of PMAN Edo State, thanked both sides and indeed all Musicians of Edo State for the opportunity given her to serve as the first Female Governor of PMAN in Edo State. She thereafter urged all musicians in Edo State to always visit the PMAN Secretariat at 80 Airport Road and also Revalidate their Membership to enjoy accruing benefits like the PMAN Health Insurance Scheme, PMAN Social Welfare Scheme etc.
