The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) is a well-known Nigerian union that was established in 1984 by Christy Essien-Igbokwe and Sunny Okosun. Its purpose is to safeguard, advance, and manage the rights of musicians. PMAN serves as an official trade union for both seasoned and emerging artists, providing advantages such as the collection of royalties, legal assistance, and healthcare coverage.
The present Edo State chapter governor is Esther Edokpayi Ebagua a popular musician and an astute leader. Within a short period of time, she has taken Edo State Pman to a height envisaged.
